Investment in Dollar Store (Gislaved Sweden) via Co-owning
In autumn 1999, Dollar Store opened their first store in Billsta, just outside Örnsköldsvik in Sweden.
The shop was 400 square meters with sales of housewares, household items and underwear.
The success was a fact!
Soon afterwards opened a second store, this time in Söderhamn. By then the entire 900 sq m range could be expanded and on launch day November 25, 1999 the store had over 2000 paying customers.
Today is the Dollar Store the fastest growing discount chain with 44 stores throughout Sweden. We have an office in Svenstavik in Jämtland and in Kista, Stockholm.
